FIT Cut for July 2015

Installation figures from DECC suggest another 3.5% digression in FIT from July 1st

Industry News

Total installations between January and March 2015 for the 0 to 10kW band were 103MWp, which should mean another 3.5% digression in the Feed-In Tariff on July 1st. This makes it the 3rd 3.5% quarterly reduction in a row.

Coming at a time of rising prices, this will begin to have an impact on ROI for homeowners.

If previous trends are repeated, then the industry expects another boom month in June.

Over 52MWp was installed in the over 50kW band, so there'll also be a 3.5% cut in that tariff rate from the same date. With only 21MWp installed in the 10-50kW band, there won't be a change to this tariff.
